Seafood
We’re known for having so many amazing fresh fish options. Try out some fresh sushi, oysters, clam chowder, smoked salmon, crab, and poke are all popular dishes here.

BRUNCH
Seattle LOVES to brunch, and we brunch hard on the weekends. Skillet (takes reservations), Cafe Flora, and Oddfellows are great go-to’s, but you’d be surprised how many amazing restaurants in Seattle ALSO offer brunch on the weekends, not to mention all of our amazing bakeries we have around town.

Hot Dogs
Don’t forget to try a Seattle style dog while you’re here: Polish hot dog with cream cheese & caramelized onions.

Thai food
Seattle has a special love for Thai food and boy do we love our Thai restaurants!

Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free options
Seattle has a variety of restaurants to suit every palate. Check out local favorites like Life on Mars (vegan), A Stir (Gluten Free), and Plum Bistro (vegetarian) for some tasty local fare.

Ice Cream, cupcakes & donuts, OH MY!
It’s true - we love our sweets!

Check out one of our many dessert restaurants around town, such as Hot Cakes, Salt & Straw, Hello Robin, Frankie & Jo’s (vegan), Molly Moon’s, Trophy Cupcakes, Cupcake Royale, Raised Doughnuts, Lowrider Cookie Co, Dough Joy (vegan), and Mighty-O Doughnuts (vegan).

Seattle must-drinks

Coffee
You know it! Obviously, we’re the headquarters for Starbucks, but if you want to do like the locals do, visit one of our hundreds of independently run coffee shops for a tasty cup and to support local small businesses. Some favorites to mention are Vivace, Victrola, Cafe Ladro, and Broadcast just to name a few.

Cocktails
Seattle is known for our craft cocktail bars, some of which are routinely mentioned on nationally recognized lists. Zig Zag Cafe, Canon, Roquette, Navy Strength, Phởcific Standard Time, Rumba/Inside Passage, and Tavern Law are just a few of an incredibly long list of great cocktail bars here. Don’t forget to try one of the most iconic Seattle cocktails: The Last Word.

Breweries
Seattleites love their craft beer. Fremont Brewing, Pike Brewing Co and the Old Stove Brewing Co are just a few awesome spots to grab a pint and take a break.

Wine
Washington state is famous for our wines grown in the eastern part of the state where the climate is much drier and hot. If you’re feeling up to a full day of wine tasting and have a car, take a trip up to Woodinville, located just 25 minutes north of Seattle, where you’ll find over 100 tasting rooms to satisfy your wine connoisseur heart.

Mocktails
With the rise of the non-alcoholic drink industry, Seattle is no exception! Check out gems like Kamp Social House for fancy mocktail options, but most cocktail bars will have tasty drinks for you. And no visit to Seattle would be complete without a visit to Rachel’s Ginger Beer.
